PubWorX was founded in 2016 as a partnership between Hearst and Condé Nast to offer scale and innovation to the magazine industry. In 2017 ProCirc, the largest and most innovative consumer marketing outsourcing company in the country, was acquired by PubWorX. With 225+ experts from across the publishing industry, PubWorX ProCirc offers custom solutions to satisfy the consumer marketing, circulation management, production and paper procurement needs of any publisher – large or small.

Al Perruzza

CEO
Al has over 45 years of U.S., International and Global executive leadership positions in business operations, strategic planning, corporate acquisitions, restructuring and supply chain management. He has managed worldwide staffs in excess of 2500 and has had responsibility for budgets of more than $2 Billion. Prior to becoming PubWorx’s CEO and President, Al held positions as Executive Vice President of The Reader’s Digest Association Inc. and President of Reader’s Digest Manufacturing Corporation. Known as an innovative and business/staff developing leader, his track record centers around significant efficiency and revenue bottom line performance driven by strong emphasis on cost reduction, business growth and industry leading re-engineering initiatives.

Marc Passarelli

President
Marc has worked in service of the publishing industry for over 35 years holding posts as VP Marketing for Inflight Newspapers, President of Waiting Room Subscription Service (WRSS), and CEO of DJG Marketing.
Marc was responsible for the acquisition and integration of DJG Marketing, WRSS and ProCirc bringing to life the vision of the only full service outsourcing company serving the publishing industry across the disciplines of research, consumer marketing and audience development.
In 2017, Marc managed the acquisition of ProCirc by PubWorX and joined the combined entity to help further scale its services to the media industry, creating effective and efficient best practice solutions for clients

John Kulhawik

Senior Vice President
John has more than 17 years of experience in the media industry. In his current role at PubWorX John is a senior leader within Consumer Marketing and works across the organization on strategic initiatives. Over his time in the media industry he has held executive level responsibilities across a number of areas including Consumer Marketing, Business Development, Licensing, e-commerce initiatives, Information Technology, and Strategic Partnerships. Prior to joining PubWorX at its inception, John’s media experience included executive level positions at both Condé Nast and The New York Times Magazine Group.

David A. Schirmer

VP, PAPER AND SUPPLY CHAIN
As VP and GM of PubWorx, Dave is responsible for paper procurement and sustainability. Prior to joining Hearst in 2004, he held various sales and executive positions with Abitibi Consolidated and predecessor companies where he worked for 27 years.

Sandie Roberts

CHIEF PRODUCTION OFFICER
Sandie has over 25 years of experience working in the publishing industry. Prior to joining PubWorX, Sandie worked at Rodale Inc. where she managed Production, Editorial Operations and Technology Services. In addition to working in production, over her career Sandie has also supported workflow systems and operations for books and direct mail products. During her time at Rodale, Sandie focused on identifying ways to transform business functions through the use of best practices and technology generating significant operational efficiencies and cost savings.
