Consumer Marketing Director

Position is responsible for the strategic oversight and day to day management of Consumer Marketing/circulation needs of PubWorX clients. Successful candidate will work hands on with clients to understand, anticipate and lead their consumer marketing. Must be highly collaborative and comfortable working in a client facing role within a matrixed organization.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute consumer marketing and circulation plans across all sources on behalf of PubWorX clients with the goal of maximizing ROI.
  • Client retention and satisfaction.
  • Manage client P&L and ratebase to established profitability goals considering NPNS, COA, and LTV as determined with clients.
  • Prepare, present, and manage budget, marketing plans, and status/progress reports as needed.
  • Advocate for clients working with PubWorX subject matter experts to ensure seamless delivery of services in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Interface seamlessly with client organizations as required to understand and anticipate clients business needs and goals.
  • Advise and assist clients as necessary to transition business from traditional print to digital.
  • Assist with client acquisition as required.



  • Solid understanding of consumer/circulation marketing economics, and direct marketing best practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital consumer marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital consumer marketing and CRM
  • Ability to interface at all levels of client organizations
  • Successful candidate must be able to multitask and work across a number of clients
