PubWorX is seeking a marketing manager to initiate and execute digital marketing activities aimed at driving customer acquisition. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the strategic development and management of digital campaigns for leading magazine brands. He/she will work with a talented team of marketers to generate digital subscription revenue for clients that include some of the largest magazine publishers.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Develop existing channels that may include sites, partnerships, SEM, Social, Apps & Other Paid Media.
  • Plan and communicate aggressive test agenda aimed at reaching publisher goals and budgets.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of digital campaigns and marketing collateral.
  • Lead creative development for new promotions ensuring goal and brand strategy alignment.
  • Ensure flawless execution of marketing campaigns as well as best in class digital marketing practices.
  • Identify, implement and evaluate new marketing opportunities to generate incremental revenue.
  • Closely manage marketing budget and performance producing reforecasts as needed.
  • Analyze and interpret analytics to illustrate campaign performance, ROI and recommendations.

The position will report directly to the Director, Digital Marketing and works regularly across several cross-functional teams including digital operations, creative services as well outside partners.

 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

The candidate will have at least 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in a digital or media marketing role. In addition, he/she should possess the following skills.

  • BA/BS from accredited college or university
  • Ability to move quickly, managing multiple projects in a cutting edge, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter and problem solver whom is proactive and solution oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented but also able to think at a high level
  • Collaborative team player who can work fluidly with cross-functional groups
  • Passionate about marketing, magazines and digital media
  • Working knowledge of both Excel and Powerpoint
