PubWorX is seeking a marketing manager to strategize and execute digital marketing activities aimed at driving customer acquisition. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development and management of digital efforts for leading magazine brands such as Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, and Food Network Magazine. He/she will work with a talented team of marketers to generate digital subscription revenue for clients that include some of the largest magazine publishers such as Hearst Magazines. The position will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing


Areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of digital campaigns in channels such as sites, SEM, social media, in-app, Amazon, and other paid and partner channels
  • Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy, including tactics such as multi-variant testing as well as segmentation
  • Plan and communicate initiatives as well as results, aimed at reaching client goals, to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Formalize proposals and campaign wrap-ups based on data analysis and best-in-class practices
  • Manage and develop a direct report while ensuring flawless execution of digital marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including digital operations, creative services, and external partners
  • Identify, implement, and evaluate new digital opportunities to generate incremental revenue
  • Closely manage marketing budget and performance projections across multiple brands


The candidate will have at least 3 years of digital marketing experience. In addition, he/she should possess the following skills:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university
  • Proactive and solution-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Extremely organized and attentive to detail, also able to think high-level
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, pivoting quickly in a cutting-edge, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with paid media such as SEM and Facebook, preferred but not required
  • Account management or client services experience, preferred but not required
  • Experience managing direct reports, preferred but not required
  • Collaborative team player able to work fluidly with cross-functional groups
  • Proficient in both Excel and PowerPoint
